These are non-lethal 40mm M781 inert rounds intended for target practice in situations where signal dye would be obtrusive to the firing range used.
These are inert rounds that come with an M212 base, and no .38 blank inserted.
DISCLAIMER: Non-Lethal or less than lethal rounds can absolutely be lethal or cause catasrophic injury if fired at someone at a medium to close range. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS LISTING OR PRODUCT RECOMMENDING OR CONDONING FIRING THIS ROUND AT ANYONE. These sponge rounds or only to be used for training with 40mm platforms.
NOTE: These 40mm Sponge rounds are significantly lighter than a standard M781 due to a lack of Zinc Body. Standard .38 blanks used for normal Signal Dye rounds are too powerful for this load and may cause misfires or damage to your firing platform. While we do not have appropriately loaded .38 blanks for these sponge rounds currently, they are in production.
